FINANCIAL LITERACY AS A KEY FACTOR IN PERSONAL AND NATIONAL ECONOMIC GROWTH

Abstrak

Kehidupan ekonomi modern menuntut individu mengambil keputusan yang semakin kompleks mengenai pembayaran, tabungan, pinjaman, asuransi, keuangan digital, dan persiapan hari tua, sehingga pertumbuhan ekonomi tidak dapat dipisahkan dari literasi keuangan. Artikel ini mengkaji literasi keuangan sebagai faktor kunci pertumbuhan ekonomi personal dan nasional. Dengan menggunakan structured literature review terhadap artikel ilmiah dan dokumen kelembagaan yang terbit pada rentang 2005 hingga 2026, artikel ini mensintesiskan kajian mengenai pengetahuan keuangan, perilaku keuangan, ketahanan rumah tangga, kewirausahaan, inklusi keuangan, kapabilitas digital, dan pembangunan makroekonomi, dengan perhatian khusus pada konteks kelembagaan Uzbekistan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pada tingkat personal literasi keuangan memperbaiki penyusunan anggaran, perilaku menabung, pengelolaan utang, perencanaan jangka panjang, serta pemanfaatan layanan keuangan formal. Pada tingkat nasional, pengaruhnya bekerja melalui pemanfaatan lembaga keuangan yang lebih luas dan lebih baik, mobilisasi tabungan yang lebih efisien, alokasi pembiayaan rumah tangga dan usaha kecil yang lebih tepat, serta ketahanan yang lebih kuat dalam lingkungan keuangan digital. Namun literasi keuangan bukan solusi tunggal karena dampaknya bergantung pada ketersediaan produk yang tepercaya, infrastruktur yang inklusif, perlindungan konsumen, dan kelembagaan pendukung. Artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa pendekatan ekosistem lebih efektif dibandingkan pembelajaran kelas yang berdiri sendiri, dan Uzbekistan perlu bergerak dari pembangunan kesadaran menuju kapabilitas keuangan yang lebih mendalam.
